Services :

Free packing of containers – reModern.dk provides free packing according to special agreements with the customer. We use 20 feet and 40 feet containers. In dealing with individual or smaller amounts of goods reModern.dk may offer packaging free of charge.

Collecting and transport of furniture – reModern.dk delivers free of charge when the furniture is bought from our company. Special arrangements must be negotiated before the deal is final.  As an additional service for our customers reModern.dk may arrange transportation from others to our warehouse before shipping to the destination.

Storage and delivery – when buying at reModern.dk we store free of charge. However there must be an agreement as to the time limit before the deal is finalised. We also pack free of charge upon prior arrangement.

E-mails and photos – it is our experience that our customers appreciate to receive photos of the furniture that arrives daily to our warehouse. It provides an excellent and quick overview of our stock. It gives you the possibility to buy precisely what your customers want. Consequently our customers are in the situation where they - from their computer - can collect furniture piece by piece until it will fill a container. At reModern.dk we realise that it is expensive to make appointments and go shopping in Denmark.

Associates/partners – in reModern.dk we cooperate with shipping companies and transportation companies all over the country. In order to provide the best possible service to our customers we suggest that you take advantage of several of our services in order to obtain maximum service for the best possible price. Look for associates at ‘ links’. Or you can let reModern.dk arrange everything in regards to transport. We will be happy to do it - and you can lean back and just wait for your furniture to arrive.

Danish Design and vintage furniture:  

From 1930 and onwards the minimalistic and functionalistic ideas of Danish architects and designers were combined with good craftsmanship of carpenters as well as innovation within production and choices of material. For many years the combination of craftsmanship and innovation was the formula for success in Scandinavia – headed by Denmark. To day we refer to the period as “Danish Design”.

In reModern.dk we have chosen not only to focus on well-known ’stars’ among the designers and architects, but also to include many brilliant craftsmen who helped create a solid foundation for the common man’s possibility of owning a ‘bite of the innovation within furniture production’. Thanks to the excellent quality and the timeless and (yet) modern design we find an astounding amount of furniture that has survived.

In reModern.dk we prefer that the furniture looks the way it was when it came through the door. The history of the furniture is conveyed through the beautiful patina - its use through many years. It radiates the soul of the furniture. To day we label it ‘vintage’. If you want new furniture, buy new furniture. We deal in history, soul and patina - some people call it (rightly) ART.

If we at reModern.dk estimate that the particular piece of furniture is too damaged and will appear better when it has had upholstering or been to visit our carpenter, we will inform you before a possible sale.

Recycle :

In reModern.dk we deal in used furniture and through that we promote a better environment.

When we repair the furniture we use environmental materials and treat it with 100 % organic  materials.  

We use means of transportation that contaminate with lowest possible emission.  We pack and use only recycled materials like paper, cardboard, plastics or cloth.

In reModern.dk we have – as a new project – chosen to support  http://www.plantabillion.org/ and we plant 10 trees every time a container leaves our warehouse.
